With so much more activity in Twin Creeks in February, it is apparent that things are getting off to a strong start.  Twelve new listings were posted and eight of them already have sales agreed, mostly after just a week on the market. There were seven closed sales in February and all except one (which sold at the list price) sold well above list price. The most notable one was 588 Santander Drive, a 4 bedroom, 3 bath tri-level home that was listed at $1,499,000 and sold for $341,000 over that – almost 23% over! It has to be noted though, that this home was certainly listed for sale at an artificially low figure to attract the maximum attention from buyers.

As noted, many more listings are coming on to the market now, and while there appears to be as much buyer interest as ever, it will be interesting to see if the inevitable mortgage rate increases as we move through the year will have any significant impact. For now though, sellers can anticipate lots of activity and high sale prices.
